# Paid-Rewrite Rescue Checklist

Work through the resume draft you paid for, section by section. Mark every line **KEEP** (genuinely better than your original), **FIX** (right idea, wrong words), or **MISSING** (something true about your work that isn't there at all). Twenty minutes, honestly done, tells you whether to push for another revision or rebuild.

## 1. The top of the page
- [ ] Does the summary describe YOU — or could it belong to anyone in your field?
- [ ] Does it point at the job you're going TOWARD (not the one you're leaving)?
- [ ] Is your target role's language in it — the words that side of the table uses?

## 2. Experience section — per role
- [ ] Are the tools and systems you actually used NAMED (not "various software/equipment")?
- [ ] Is required training on the page (safety, compliance, certifications you hold)?
- [ ] Does at least one bullet per role carry a real number — scale, volume, frequency, result?
- [ ] Did anything you're proud of get flattened into a duty list? Mark it FIX.
- [ ] Is anything on the page that you never said and isn't true? Mark it — that's a line you must remove, whoever wrote it.

## 3. Skills & credentials block
- [ ] Every license/cert you hold, with the real name a recruiter would search
- [ ] Nothing listed that you don't actually hold (a "planned" cert doesn't belong here)
- [ ] Trade/government/military terms translated where a civilian reader needs them

## 4. The dodge test
Count your KEEP lines against your FIX + MISSING lines.
- Mostly KEEP: the rewrite mostly worked — send one precise note per FIX line and finish it.
- Mostly FIX: one more round, with line-by-line notes (one change per note, tied to a specific line).
- Mostly MISSING: the service reformatted instead of rewriting. Stop chasing; rebuild from your real experience.

## 5. If you rebuild with us
Upload the paid draft as your starting point at adaptiveresume.com. We find what it left out, you confirm every item before it appears, and any line you don't like gets redone from your note. Nothing made up. Targeted build, $149 one-time.
