The Service is operated by AdaptiveResume LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("AdaptiveResume," "we," "us"). This Disclaimer is part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Where this Disclaimer and the Terms of Service address the same subject, the Terms of Service control.

1. No guaranteed outcomes

AdaptiveResume is a résumé completeness and clarity tool. It is not a job-placement, recruiting, staffing, or career-counseling service. We do not promise, and cannot promise, that using the service will result in a job, an interview, a callback, a higher salary, or any specific outcome. Hiring decisions are made by employers based on many factors outside our control.

2. You are the author; you confirm what's true

The service works by identifying skills, standards, and credentials commonly associated with roles like yours and asking you to confirm which are genuinely true for you. Nothing appears in your résumé unless you confirm it — we do not add a credential, certification, skill, or experience on our own. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of everything you confirm and of the final résumé you choose to use. We do not verify your statements with employers, schools, licensing boards, or credentialing bodies. When you download or export a finished document, you are confirming that everything in it is true and that you have the right to say it.

3. AI-assisted service

The paid builds use automated and AI-assisted processing to generate suggestions. When you purchase a build, you are interacting with a generative artificial intelligence system, and we will confirm that any time you ask. Suggestions may be incomplete or imperfect. They are proposals for you to review, edit, accept, or reject, and they are never facts we have established or verified. Always review your final document before you submit it anywhere. The free scan and the demo do not use AI; they run on fixed, rule-based logic.

4. Not professional advice

Nothing in the service or its content is legal, financial, immigration, or professional career advice. For federal, military-transition, security-clearance, licensing, or other high-stakes applications, confirm formatting and content requirements with the relevant authority.

5. Reference data and third parties

Role and occupation information may draw on third-party and public sources (e.g., O*NET). We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data, or for the policies of third-party services (such as payment processors or AI providers) referenced in our Privacy Policy.

6. "As is"

The service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. See the Terms of Service for the full warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section and of the Terms of Service may not apply to you.
